Gone Hiking....

It was a beautiful Sunday today, so after church and a nice nap we decided to go out and enjoy the crisp afternoon. We went to hike a nature trail. We had never been to this trail before and it was great! For a minute you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere when really you are in the middle of Vestavia! Braxton loves to hike through the woods...Emma Chase does too for the most part, but this particular trail was steep in some places with lots of big tree roots... so she wanted to be carried on the way back up. We made her stick it out and walk which of course caused a little whining...but when we got back to the car she said she had fun!

Braxton always wants to find a perfect walking stick....He was helping Emma Chase find one too!

Hiking with Daddy......
Emma Chase wanted to hold Daddy's hand....The leaves were a little slippery when going down hill...Collier had the best ride of all....We found a creek......
Braxton and his walking stick...I forget sometimes how fast he is growing up....He had to be the leader on the trail and would race ahead of all of us looking for "snakes and deer."
