Balloon races....

We went to the Memorial day balloon races this year in Decatur.....I hadn't been in years and thought the kids would love it....unfortunately the weather was bad so they couldn't launch the balloons..but they still enjoyed seeing them teathered...The races are early in the morning so we had to get up at 5:45.....this was okay for braxton and emma chase, but collier was in a bad mood all morning..... Daddy had to hold Collier all morning to keep him happy.....The big kids got to help roll up the Cook's Pest Control balloon.....they liked this! Afterwards the cook's team was singing the Cook's song, "Lookie, Lookie....." my kids really liked this and sang it all day...they actually sang it to our cook's bug man last week when he came..the big kids are in that pile of kids rolling up the balloon.....The weather wasn't great, but they still had activities going on....so we rode ponies, climbed the rock wall and rode a spinner ride ( like the tea cups, but spins in the air).....

Something is a little scary about going this fast and spinnng in a parking lot........But they LOVED it..... all ready to go again, but for 4 bucks you only get to go 1 time...ha!braxton and emma chase climbing the wall....neither one got very far, but liked the attempt....emma chase is a little monkey and i thought she would love it, but I think she was a little scared trying to let go and reach for the next step.....
